Prithwindra Mukherjee The English Book (the Revolutionary Legacy) gives a detailed picture of the Swami's influence on JNM./ As far as your comment about "a novel", I remember a member of the Jury who examined my French thesis for PhD commented that even though I was strictly faithful to documents I had consulted, my narration reminded him of an opera by the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi.
