THE CHINA POLICY -- A LAYMAN'S APOLITICAL VIEW ... 1
Mere clamouring against China will not strengthen India enough to meet the foe on even terrain. Build up yourself, each one of you, to build up India's cumulative strength that can resist the enemy. Beat China in every sphere -- research, sports, commerce, culture -- before you contemplate a more robust sustained confrontation that will beat back the dragon into its den. Till then the danger lurks as China encircles India with her 'String of Pearls' policy and buys up India's neighbours in the subcontinent.
Mere shouting suits the coward, not the courageous soul. The armed forces do not shout. They carry out the plans of national defence. So must every Indian be. Look not at who is nationalistic and who is anti-national in outlook and observance. You surge ahead with your own character-building, the strengthening of your own spine so that you in turn may lend strength to the nation.
Burning effigies and raising slogans before embassies have scant effect on foreign affairs and are read by the enemy as the popular output of a weak nation. Rather, by your restraint let the enemy keep guessing what India's intentions are. Play the game their way by their mischievous rules and you will for sure get the better of them.
Develop the nation to a dynamo of power which nothing can resist. Build up small groups of dedicated patriots who will lend themselves heart and soul to working for the common weal. Such sincere dedication will resolve into the totality of national strength so very necessary for combating China. Jai Hind !
