Swami Vivekananda must be interpreted correctly in so far as the political application of his message is concerned. The RKM has merely interpreted him in spiritual terms. This has left a vacuum which needs to be filled up. Otherwise, people will be misled by motivated politicians misunderstanding and misrepresenting his message.
But Swamiji did have a political message as well which must be given shape to. Who will direct the nation in this regard when all are busy interpreting him their own way to suit convenience and justify their preferred line of action, political or otherwise?
