A LETTER UNTO A GRIEVING SISTER

A LETTER UNTO A GRIEVING SISTER

Dear Manoshi,
Sorry to get to know about your father's demise. My heartfelt condolences, Manoshi, to you and your family in these difficult times. Hope to see you draw inspiration from his memory and his message unto you through lineage and legacy, through fond nurturing and nourishing the best elements in your being.
I lost my father in 1996 and still miss him. My mother I lost just the other day in 2019 and I miss her dearly, too.
Men come into this world to work out their karma and then leave for further evolution elsewhere before they return to this long befriended terrestrial home of theirs till in final incarnation the Beloved smiles on them to release them unto Him. So have we come into this world, are working out our lot to churn out of it our destiny in divine absorption eventually. So shall we all depart one day from the face of this earth, some of us leaving behind our footprints on the sands of time for others to follow but most of us simply to disappear in the mist of the future into the departed past, leaving no tangible trace.
Your father lives in you and has left in a delightfully divine daughter his hopes and aspirations, for which father does not wish to see the best evolve out of his offspring? And you shall fulfil those dreams, spelt and not spelt by him but felt for sure. And in this doing shall your daughter's delight find fruition, sometimes in merry reminiscence thus, sometimes in tearful recollection.
May God grant you, dear one, strength and sublimity of love for you to carry on with life in the noblest possible manner as a fitting tribute to your departed dear one !

Your brother in shared grief,
