WHEN THE INDIVIDUAL WRESTS CONTROL OF HIS LIFE FROM THE CLUTCHES OF A PERFIDIOUS OLIGARCHY

Religion in the hands of clerics becomes a tool for creating divisions in society for it allows mass control by a handful of interested parties who may be perverted from the harmonious social cause espoused by the common man. Ordinary people would be better off with direct interpretation of their religion and its sacred texts than going through the nefarious filter of these malicious manipulators of sacred literature, for even if they in places misinterpret passages, they are less likely to organise mass violence on their own against other communities which they are made to believe are inimical to them.

Addressing God direct rather than through an intermediary, who either imposes his political agenda on the innocent or exhorts them to rise up in self-defence against an imaginary enemy who has a different approach to spirituality, is a far more efficient way of arriving at social cohesion and harmony.

Organised religion, however apparently disorganised it may on the surface seem to be, plays havoc with social peace by consolidating support for its mischievous divisive cause by seeking sanction for such from selective reading and interpretation of scriptural texts. This can never be if individuals mature to say that they have had enough and will take no more of this manipulated nonsense from clerics that ever endangers their lives with the threat of communal violence. Here enlightened individuals must take the lead and lead men out of this tangle of mass control by clerics whose business it is to profit by selling religion in whatever manner they can. May the individual triumph in this his singular endeavour to wrest control of his life from the clutches of a perfidious oligarchy !
