Sri Ramakrishna stressed on truthfulness as being inviolable to life. The world is based on falsity, blatant lies outright. Now where does the harmony lie? How must character be moulded so that God is not denied? The common man is steeped in a terrible compromise with half-truths and falsities forced upon him by commercial considerations that have well nigh made a destitute of him. And the capitalist squeezes the last drop of blood from society till it revolves round in terrible retribution that shall sweep away the dross of ages and overturn an entrenched system that is the handiwork of the devil in man. Mercy and a merciful God? Whither mercy? Whither sympathy? Whither pity? Where is the elusive heaven on earth which has been despoiled by a handful of rogues wielding the capital?
