Wrestling match in Hindustani classical vocal music that is much evident in many artistes is an aesthetically traumatic experience for the audience of refined artistic sensibility. Would it were that God had gifted these artistes with better aesthetic sense and a more mellifluous voice such that their rendition would have been like the easy flow of sparkling, fragrant water, a la Nehr-e-Behest of the Lal Quilla (Red Fort) of Shah Jahan's time !
