BE INDIAN IN ATTIRE, MANNER AND MEANS
The westernisation of civic culture is not what I particularly like. This mimicking of the West Swamiji repudiated in his 'Svadesh Mantra'. We must be Indian in our manners and means even as we absorb and indigenise elements of the West which we may need for our socioeconomic development. But we must be Indian in identity and not a queer caricature of the European or the American.
