THE MOTHERLAND AND THE MASSES ... 4
Those who are rich have a duty to look after the interests of the nation. They must build the nation.
Give up frivolous pursuits. Stop exploitation. Build up your character and serve. Serve the common man who is the embodiment of the Divine. Preserve national culture. Save Hinduism from destruction. Make of your life a sacrifice unto the motherland.
You have not been born to pursue puerile dreams but you have been afforded the grand opportunity to serve India and career her to her golden destination of once more becoming the beacon for the whole world, the saving grace, the guiding spirit and light of darkened humanity.
Come on, take up this task of resurrecting the motherland through vigorous action devoid of the debilitating talk of western social realism. Ours is an ancient civilisation which has endured the ravages of the times for millenia to arrive at the conclusion that these western nations of yesterday are like prattling children who pretend maturity of thought but are in essence social adolescents experimenting with their new-fangled ideas and ideals thereof. As such we need not seek guidance in their 'wise' counsel but must seek wisdom in our scriptures and in the timeless utterances of our sages and saints, seers and divine incarnations. Let us heed the message of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda and rebuild our nation along our age-old line of human evolution. Let us follow the blueprint of our national progression as laid down by the greatest Indian of modern times, Swami Vivekananda.
