THE HISTORICAL FACT ?
However much we may clamour for Netaji having been the greatest leader of the freedom movement, the fact remains that history and historians accord Gandhiji a far more prominent place in regard to the freedom struggle than anybody else. Perhaps, Netaji himself thought so as he addressed Gandhiji as 'Father of the Nation'. Your well-thought out, well-argued observations would help illuminate this issue but they must be based on sound historical factual ground and not personal preferences, preconceptions and perceptions thereof. I await your reasoned observations and not unreasoned rancour spewed to spoil discourse.
