LEARN SANSKRIT, STUDY THE SANATAN SCRIPTURES IN THE ORIGINAL AND IN TRANSLATION IN THE VERNACULARS
Is teaching Sanskrit to the generation next the way out of the cultural mess we have landed ourselves in where we do not even know our Sanatan Dharma well? What do you say? The Muslims learn Arabic alright to equip themselves to study their sacred scriptures and it is good that they do so, for knowledge is always better than ignorance. Why don't the Hindus learn Sanskrit as well, as they did in the past? Let them start from now on. And till that time when this policy is implemented en masse, let them make individual efforts to do so as much as they can. Let the scriptures be studied in the vernaculars as well. Even that will be quite beneficial and conducive to the strengthening of understanding of our heritage and our dharma. So, let us start.
