WHEN HISTORY REWRITTEN WILL SPARK OFF A STERLING CHARACTER

The character of the country cannot be strengthened so long as fictitious tales of independence are woven out of the fabric woven in Sabarmati and Wardha. Brother, narrate the real stories of Kohima and Imphal, too, of Rangoon and Andaman, Singapore and Saigon. Recount to our children the daring exploits at Balasore and Chittagong, at Dehradun and Delhi, and then you will see how our future citizens will manifest character which their forefathers in fighting for freedom had dreamt of as coming in their descendants breathing the air of independence. So, off to writing the true history of the freedom struggle but in the rightful historical way and not like the way ignoramuses are so often clamouring for these days.
