MARTYRS TO THE MOTHERLAND ... 1
There is something called powder [barood] in the soul. And this is what characterised the revolutionaries for freedom. What they burst outside was but the reflection, the image of their inner selves. This is what the British feared the most and before things got out of hand, either executed them or deported them to die despicable deaths in deprivation and torture. Unto some such martyrs to the motherland, this night, I lay my heart's adoration.
