FROM END TO END FOR FREEDOM

FROM END TO END FOR FREEDOM

Europe to Asia, the man of destiny, the revolutionary with a solitary mission for freedom when others were either in the mode of compromise or collusion with the British to serve self-interest or communal causes. The one man who stood up to the titans to wrest freedom when others were either reticent in demanding immediate independence, apologetic about inflicting such an indignity on the British or plain unconcerned about the fate of the nation as Jinnah in demanding her dismemberment was.

The one man whom the British feared the most, who dared the dictator in his own den, climbed the hills and plumbed the depths to arrive at the gates of India with his army of intrepid would-be-martyrs to the cause of freedom. From Calcutta to Kabul, Moscow to Berlin, Singapore to Tokyo, Rangoon to Moirang, his advance through the ranks and columns of colonialism was unstoppable and precipitated the collapse of an empire the like of which has seldom been seen in the annals of history. In this he not only liberated India but freed the colonised peoples of the wide world in consequential effect. As such Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will have to one day be chronicled as one of the key figures in the history of the world of all time and a real liberator of men.
