THE GREAT ESCAPE AND ITS MANY ANOMALIES

In independent India why did it take so much time [1970 - Sisir Bose and 1974 - Ashok Nath Bose] for the Bose family to come up with the Wanderer-Elgin-Bararee-Gomoh narrative of the Great Escape? What was Suresh Chandra Bose's view on it? Can anybody enlighten? I specially request the researchers to respond and bring to light pertinent facts of the case.

P.S. The above dates are the ones that I could collect from certain informed interviewees but myself cannot testify to their veracity or otherwise, being not that well-informed about the case with self-seen documentary evidence. Hence, the above request made to researchers to enlighten us.
