TO A STANDARD ALLEGATION LEVELLED AGAINST THE DISAPPEARANCE DISCUSSION OR THE MARRIAGE/PROGENY CONTROVERSY

TO A STANDARD ALLEGATION LEVELLED AGAINST THE DISAPPEARANCE DISCUSSION OR THE MARRIAGE/PROGENY CONTROVERSY

There are some who believe that

1) Gumnami Baba was a hoax ;

2) Netaji had married and fathered a daughter ;

3) Netaji had died in the Taihoku air-crash ;

4) It is futile discussing Netaji's disappearance or the controversy centring his marriage and progeny for these are either settled issues or not worth spending time on as they distract the polity from the main discussion on Netaji's life and works.

We must respect their opinion for it is their democratic right to express themselves in any manner they please but we must also counter them systematically and on a rational basis without rancour or roguish behaviour roughing up things and ruining proceedings.

I invite all to enter in a disciplined manner into the discussion centring each point raised above and to posit your responses to the same.

Shankar Kumar Chatterjee Since you tagged me i can say this 1. The Taiwan Govt's own report of 1956, their e-mail to Anuj Dhar in 2002, brazen inconsistencies in the 'eyewitness' accounts, and the death certificate of Ichiro Okura rules out the crash story. 2. Not a shred of documentary evidence exists to prove his death in Russia 3. British intelligence reports of 1946 say he is in Moscow creating an organisation on the same lines of the INA with the target or creating an Imphal like situation in the Northwest of India 4. 1964 CIA report suggests he is in India helping a religious organisation (? RSS) to undermine the JN govt. 5. Bhagwanji surfaces in India in 1953 -55 at Shringarnagar near Lucknow in UP. He looks like Netaji, speaks like Netaji, has the same commanding personality, speaks of World leaders like he knows them personally, has total grasp of military matters & geopolitics and is a spititual powerhouse yet he lives in total secrecy. National leaders beginning with Leela Roy, her followers Santosh Bhattacharya, Dulal Nandy, Kabiraj Kamalakanta, Samar Guha, firebrand revolutionary Trailokya Maharaj, her son Bijoy Nag, Sunil Krishna Gupta, Surajit Dasgupta, Jagatjit Dasgupta, et al visit him at regular intervals on his birthday 23rd Jan and Durga Puja, India's top military commanders and the RSS supremo consult him in secret, Mrs Gandhi and Pranab Mukherjee both met him iñ secret and lastly 3 independent renowned handwriting experts have confirmed Bhagwanji's handwriting to.be that of Netaji. Bhagwanji himself denied the marriage story. Bhagwanji also described the Tashkent talks in Jan 1966 in threadbare details and Neil Millar's scientific forensic face mapping report lends strong support to the contention that the unidentified journalist in Tashkent is Netaji. I rest my case.
Shankar Kumar Chatterjee Regarding the DNA test of Renkoji ashes it has been dwelt with in great detail during the JMCI and international authorities on forensics have opined DNA cannot be obtained from incinerated human remains. Also the Renkoji ashes do not legally qualify for forensic DNA testing. Dr Madhusudan Pal Sir.
Sugata Bose Shankar Kumar Chatterjee I tagged you to help me locate the date of the photograph appended to the post. This post itself is a response to Abhishek Sanyal's calling Gumnami Baba a hoax and then quickly removing the said comment to an earlier post of mine. I could not persuade him to address the house with the defence of his statement, though. However, your response is welcome information, known to me but refreshed each time, and unknown to me and furnishing fresh input into my seeking mind, for which I must thank you, Shankar Babu. Please regularly contribute some essays and write-ups to this group page to keep it thriving and to allow me, deficient as I am in knowledge about Netaji, prior to and post his disappearance, time and effort, rather, in gathering data while others, more knowledgeable ones, carry on with providing it with fresher information.
Sugata Bose Shankar Kumar Chatterjee Brilliant rebuff to Abhishek Sanyal. I invite him to answer this instead of commenting and running.
