1. Evil souls are to be carefully avoided. Altercation with them ruins health, resource and energy. All fruitful work is rendered sterile thence.
2. Those who are in the primary phase of human evolution need to vampire on others to live. These are to be assiduously avoided in order to carry on with one's own peaceful progress towards cultural uplift and the realisation of truth.
3. Why waste time and energy in chasing wild geese? Better utilise the hour in the pursuit of truth and in the refinement of your sensitivity and sensibility that will equip you better to respond to life all around.
4. In this dark world of hammered hopes and shattered dreams be thou the one succour for all without distinction.
5. Lend yourself to the service of all but seek service from none. Unasked you are ever receiving the service of a million souls.
6. To honour oneself is to honour another for in the other one you alone reside. Everywhere you are, the one and the only Self that animates a billion bodies.
7. Peacefulness comes from the state of the sattva which in turn is acquired by purity and disciplined performance of one's duties and diligence in daily observance of the due spiritual practices. Once the tranquil state of inner reflection is reached, peace necessarily follows with its corresponding blissful state of the mind.
8. Even in the direst disaster one must not lose sight of the divinity within and, reposing faith in oneself, must struggle to overcome the odds in life or reject such hindering influences altogether to focus on the eternal verities of life.
9. Levity is the bane of the spiritual life and serious contemplation of life's transience must be the order of the reflective mind that aspires for shedding itself en route to absolute Truth or seeks to transform itself with higher vibrations that express only the call of the infinite. One must utilise to one's best capacity the hour that passes by and discover one's native state in the Self.
10. The motherland is but a face of the Divine Mother, a significant phase of it where one may reside and serve fellow beings to emerge a stronger soul that can delve deep into the inner recesses of the heart that transcends earthly barriers. Then the motherland stands transfigured as the terrestrial phase of the eternal reality and becomes the deity for the patriot pure.
