Hitler may have been a monstrous mass murderer but was no hypocrite like the rest of the barbarous leaders of the world who put up the pretence of saving civilisation or ushering in one even as they carried out the genocide of helpless millions. That Netaji understood this and did not hesitate to seek his help in driving the British off from India is a pointer to his clarity of conception about the actual state of things as opposed to its make-believe appearance which befooled many others.
We all know about the refinement of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Churchill and Truman and their exemplary standards of civilisation in dealing with the perceived enemy. Hence, Netaji's assessment of their character and attributes, their deception and deeds was accurate enough to merit his adoption of the pragmatic principle of 'My enemy's enemy is my friend'.
