IS THIS SERVING JEEVA AS SHIVA-INCARNATE ?

Spirituality must be given free, said Swamiji. If money is charged by selling tickets for spiritual lectures as is happening now, it is no more spiritual but is downright business masquerading as spiritual service. It is a sad departure from those halcyon days of economic poverty and spiritual prosperity when a handful of begging monks served society free of charge, fed devotees free while themselves starving as opposed to today's charging of money at every bend and turn despite doing so in the name of Thakur-Ma-Swamiji and the direct disciples whose very principles of free service are being violated. Is God in the guise of man to be traded with? Is it not a flouting of first principles, especially when money is in over-abundance now? Is this 'Shivjnaney jeevseva'? 🕉

Written---in response to the distasteful discovery of everyday heresy of whatever Thakur-Ma-Swamiji stood for, despite pious protestations to the contrary and clever presentation of counter-evidence by way of justification of unjustifiable, unspiritual, initiated commercial practice---by Sugata Bose, an as yet undeviated ardent devotee of the Holy Trinity who still upholds the Paramahamsa's principles to the hilt in precept and practice, and this not being stated by way of self-aggrandisement or self-publicity but in horror and disgustful spontaneous righteous reaction.
