SAMĀDHI

Veda + anta = Vedānta 

The climactic point of transcendental knowledge is the Vedānta, the summit of spirituality, the zenith of realisation, the acme of actualisation. Words scarce convey the grandeur of the Soul in blissful self-existence, undivided, whole, partitioned by nought, a solidarity of being, dimensionless, free but inexplicably yearning for company which manifests the multiplicity of phenomenal existence. The aloneness of the singular state of the Atman seems unbreachable, such is the frozen solidity of it, a spherical self-awareness without beginning or end, without boundary or bounds, an eternity of lonesome existence where replication of self is an impossibility. And this awakens intense sadness, the first sign that phenomena has been born in seed-form soon to shoot into a forest of foliage. And the universe of name and form begins.
