Sugata Bose @A disciple : The Guru protects, the Guru preserves, the Guru powers the boat to freedom. Life is Maya and must be forded like a river in spate that can drown or deliver unto the ocean ahead. From the hills to the sea, from the heights to the depths, from the sky to the deep lie an endless stretch where the Guru in trust can cut the course and speed the run to bliss and light. All was well, all is so and all will be if a glimpse, a glance of the light within be had in a trice like Bānkebihāri's jhānki darshan. May fear disappear, resolve dissolve, all desires drop but the only hope, the drive, the theme that life is light, that light is love, that love is strength and service free, that freedom's the goal, the course, the source, that the God within is the God you are and none else, none else but the Atman free! 🕉

The Mantra is divine, just chant it ever, more and more. The Guru rides atop the Seed, Mantrārūŕha, a beam of light, of love, of strength, of power pure that stokes the fire to so desire that thou shalt be free here and now for ever and ever. So, abide in bliss in reformed thought, in coursing current unbroken, free, centred in God, in light, in truth and in freedom that has sundered all earthly bonds. Free you were, free you are, free forever, forever shall be as in memory fine of the One Divine you centre your soul and never budge. May the Great Guru bless thee with light and love and strength and endless bliss! 🕉

Love, light and power---the trinity of force that drives the world. 🕉 

Endless bliss awaits thee if memory be strong, refined, free, without bend or break or rupture of a moment. Then rapture follows in flood, in waves, of grasping truth and gasping breath till the flow without stops in full and the rise within reveals, reveals, realms that lie now locked behind layers of thought to be peeled off to see. The uprush of air, the thought stream fine, will reveal the One, the One Divine. 🕉

You are a jewel that needs care and safekeeping, for the kind that you are is increasingly becoming rare these days. Keep in good health, high spirits and hope despite the challenges of the times, for that is the sole way to fight on for a brighter morrow. Great work was never accomplished without barriers seemingly insurmountable blocking the way, bars that bound the struggling souls for a seemingly interminable period of time, only to give way when all seemed lost. Such is the way of Maya, the Mother who hinders to help and eventually release us unto freedom that knows no bounds. 🕉

Sugata Bose @YouTube [Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture---Swami Suvirananda] : Strange it is that Swami Nirmalanandaji, a close associate and brother disciple of Swami Vijnānānandaji, was not mentioned in Swami Suviranandaji's lecture, although Nirmalanandaji was largely instrumental in Vijnānānandaji's eventual relinquishing of worldly office and renouncing ties to embrace monasticism. In Varanasi the two brother disciples has been in close association for years. Nirmalanandaji was one of the closest early companions of Vijnānānandaji. Such an omission in reference or mention seems deliberate and renders the speech factually deficient. 🕉

Meister Eckhart's Truth-God statement is pertinent and finds resonance in me and in my actions. I also place Truth above interest of Organisation and am not an apologist for a deviant Order straying at every step from the Paramahamsa's pristine principles. 🕉

And whose commonwealth? Britain's commonwealth. As if the wide world of British dominion is Britain's God-given right to claim as her own. Despicable!

Sugata Bose @Bhaskar Mukherjee : Britain is neocolonist now. We must not forget our colonised past nor the perfidies of imperial England nor ever forgive them their tyranny on us if we are self-respecting Indians which, unfortunately, most aren't.

Sugata Bose @Bhaskar Mukherjee : It is not a question of adversarial attitude being harboured. It is a question of national self-respect. We have no business to remain subservient to the British by being a part of the ' "British" Commonwealth of Nations' when Britain's commonwealth is largely looted material from the vast dominions they secured by treachery, fraud and force. To befriend our single biggest enemy who even during the Bangladesh War of 1971 had sent the British Royal Navy to attack India is to befriend adharma and the adhārmic demonic force which Swamiji had prophesied would pay for its sins perpetrated across the world. Of course, it requires strong blood and uncompromising patriotism, above all, manhood, to comprehend its implications which unfortunately, as stated earlier, our citizenry, especially those sitting in the corridors of power, political and pecuniary, terribly lack.

P.S. And we could hardly kick the Brits out. Had we done so, as Netaji had dreamt we would, we would not have fallen victim to mutilation of the motherland nor succumbed to circumstantial pressure to become member of the British Commonwealth of Nations and stayed put there shamelessly for eight decades running. This apology on behalf of the current state of post-colonial, better named neocolonial subservience, is proof of the fact that we have betrayed both Swamiji and Netaji and the countless other uncompromising radical revolutionaries lock, stock and barrel. We should be ashamed of such betrayal and rectify course. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Amaan Malik : You have your malefic motivations of proselytism that prompts you to speak thus. Regrettable but expected, for that is the agenda of Islam whose votary you are. It requires a bit more of brain to comprehend the Sanātan Dharma and its genuine proponents. Read Swami Vivekananda's Complete Works to see the light at the end of the dark tunnel where your religious compulsion has situated you, no doubt by dint of circumstance of birth. Advance along your own religious path but learn to cultivate verbal restraint when referring to those of others. Spiritual growth is hindered thus by jibes such as you have indulged in. 🕉

How will a poor person at any rate pay the million rupees or the one rupee to buy the services in trade sold by the charlatan individual or organisation at any rate? Sugata Bose @Swapan Kumar Ghosh : But, being the Avatar of the Age, valid even today. His principles are pristine and perennial, not dated in time as to expire in the twenty-first century. Moreover, the honorific 'Paramahamsa' is accorded for transcending space-time-causality and attaining to the Eternal in the Brahman. Hence, to call Sri Ramakrishna 'Paramahamsa of the nineteenth century' might be historically accurate in terms of assigning date but spiritually and linguistically incorrect as also irrelevant in terms of the idea evident hopefully in the little write-up. The epithet you have accorded Sri Ramakrishna is absolutely novel. I wonder whether it will have currency among devotees for its sheer creativity. I chose to place the physical form of the Paramahamsa in terrestrial space by specifying his habitat. You chose to depict him in the complementary aspect of location in time by mentioning the century of his habitat on earth. It seems together we have covered him in our own way comprehensively by locating him both in space and in time. And that is well done. 🕉

সন্তান ভুল করলে মা দেখিয়ে দেন | মা ভুল করলেও বিবেকবান সন্তান মাকে বলেন সে কথা | ভক্ত-সঙ্ঘ সম্বন্ধও অনুরূপ | ইতিহাসে বারংবার সঙ্ঘসর্বনাশ ঘটেছে এই রকম প্রত্যক্ষ ও পরোক্ষ অনুগামীসমর্থনে | এবারও তাই ঘটে চলেছে | কয়েক দশকের মধ্যে আদর্শ চুরমার হয়ে যাচ্ছে, যে আদর্শ সঙ্ঘে প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে ঠাকুরের সাক্ষাৎ শিষ্যরা একপ্রকার জীবন দিয়েছেন | প্রতিরোধ করা ত' দূর, এই প্রকার সমর্থনেই ত' আদর্শভ্রষ্ট হচ্ছে সঙ্ঘ সম্পূর্ণ তার উচ্চমার্গ হতে | বাস্তিবকতার দোহাই দিলে চলবে না | অবিদ্যামায়া ফাঁদ | এতে পা দেওয়া সম্বন্ধে ঠাকুর বলেছেন, "সাধু, সাবধান !" 🕉
