TULSI MAHARAJ---OTTAPALAM ASHRAMA

TULSI MAHARAJ---OTTAPALAM ASHRAMA

Such a beautiful ashrama, sanctified by the celestial presence of Thakur's pure child, his disciple Tulsi, who Swamiji duly named Nirmalananda. The tranquility of the place, the environmental serenity, the reclusive atmosphere of the ashrama spontaneously takes one as if by a magic wand a century back to those halcyon days when Thakur's dear Tulsi walked the precincts with his invisible Master who never left him, although the Sangha he bled for so deserted him. Now forsaken and forgotten by the unfortunate ungrateful ones, Tulsi Maharaj yet sheds his lustre on this his last habitat on earth, the ashrama which he founded and fed to fruition at Ottapalam.

Bodies come and bodies go but there are some spirits whose lasting legacy lives on amidst the oblivion of times, often as subterranean current to resurface in a deluge at some auspicious opportune moment in the future. The place, the name, the form and the spirit have woven into an integrated being here at Ottapalam whose heart beats in the mother-heart of Tulsi Maharaj. May Thakur-Ma-Swamiji forever bless this place and leave it unaltered and radiating in its pristine purity even if its ownership changes hands, which it has, as we have from reliable source been apprised of! May Tulsi Maharaj forever live on here in subtle form to preserve the spiritual vibration of the place which for sure will otherwise be sadly erased by the onset of rajasic attributes upon acquisition by an accumulating organisation! 🕉
