THE HOLOCAUST ... 1
Indian leaders should have protested against the persecution of the Jews by Nazi Germany. That none did effectively is awful. Perhaps, the Indian Communists alone did raise a storm against fascism but did they raise their voice against the Holocaust that was rumoured to have been happening then? Those that saw almost first hand the Jewish destruction while in Germany chose to be silent. Strange notions of human freedom and the strange contradictions of historical circumstance ! Man destroys man and uncompromising patriots choose to be silent !
