GIVE UP THIS FALSE GANDHIAN NARRATIVE -- NO FAULT OF GANDHI, THOUGH
The attempted narrative of India's historical nonviolence is largely false. India's history is replete with instances of martial valour of the highest order and nonviolence has hardly ever been the order of royal governance. True it is that India has seldom aggressively extended her boundaries to distant lands beyond the borders of the subcontinent. True also it is that India (read : the Hindus) has observed certain moral codes of warfare. But entirely mythical is this notion that India has been a docile nation submitting to aggression or facing up to it passively in the Gandhian manner. That has never been and never ought to be ever again if India is to maintain her sovereignty and rise as a force in the world scene where she can play her historical role as the civiliser of the world in spiritual terms. Let us give up this Gandhian weakness and rise as a nation true to our kshatriya tradition. In this shall the observance of dharma be and in it shall be all that is good and wholesome for this blessed motherland of ours.
