THE GOD THAT DOES NOT EXIST ... 1

THE GOD THAT DOES NOT EXIST ... 1

The Semitic scriptures are archaic and full of crude scientific errors like 'God created the world in six days' or 'God created Eve, the first woman out of a bone of Adam, the first man', divine revelations which have been falsified by scientific discoveries which, therefore, raise serious doubts about the veracity of these revelations. Yet, even in the 21st century children are being indoctrinated these misconceptions about Nature and Reality from birth and they grow up to becoming stunted, superstitious individuals, all the time fearing God and His divine dispensation when in truth this God is simply fiction and not fact as is made out to be with a consistent and constant vehemence by proselytising priests and corrupting clerics.
When I see children in secular school being taught the illumining natural sciences but at home being indoctrinated with scriptural superstition going by the name of the ultimate truth that is there to be learnt in this brief test of life, I despair about the fate of humanity. Children are corrupted right from infancy with scriptural assertions which have been proved to be utterly baseless, devoid of a shred of scientific evidence to back them up and the erroneous exclamations of ancient and medieval men going by the name of prophets. This anti-scientific thought-force irrationalises the children and they grow up to be violent fanatics with the horrendous potentiality to do horrible things in the name of their observed religion which they deem to be the God-sent highest truth sent to man to live and die for.
The brain is highly plastic and can be moulded very easily with systematic indoctrination right from birth and this is where the danger lies. New-born babies are introduced to the sound of scriptural verses and the process goes on with added emphasis as the years progress till the resulting human being is a mass of superstition crowding out rational thoughts in his brain. The consequence of this cannot but be deadly corrosive, especially when politics adds fuel to it in later life.
The recognition of religion in catching the babe early, so to say, is significant and this theocratic education not only stifles free thinking but places the burden of a fictitious, frightening, terrible God on top of the human personality whose bidding as slaves he is bound to do, for, after all, he is but His creation and how dare may he do otherwise and risk burning indefinitely in a fictitious hell ! So, despite Lincoln's outlawing slavery from America, it continues unabated and in full flow in the Semitic scriptures and a great bulk of the population of the world are held hostage of it. Here God is the slave master and one wonders which Supreme Court legislation can undo His deadly decree unto the devout and deadlier retribution unto the doubting? After all God is omnipotent, is He not? And is not man and his Supreme Court subservient to His divine commandment? Is He not inviolable in His injunction?
Humanity belonging to the Semitic traditions has endured enormous tyranny thus at the hands of a God who does not exist at all? He is the creation of man and wherever reason has made the slightest entry in real earnest in human society, He has taken to flight into His misty habitat whence He can never return to enter into earthly engagement again.
The Jews who began the Abrahamic religious tradition have completely grown out of this arrant scriptural superstition and have contributed to world science like no other community, having won 25% of the Nobel Prizes in the sciences [150 out of a total of 609 awarded thus far], and hold on to their Holy Book only by way of cultural symbolism which gives their persecuted people a racial identity for carrying on the battle for survival in a hostile world that threatens to annihilate them as a race.
The Christians took over the dominant Semitic mantle from the Jews and spread their Gospel to the remotest corners of the earth, initially amidst great community suffering and martyrdom before royal patronage carried for them the day and from being oppressed they turned oppressor of the diverse races of the world which they annihilated to make room for themselves in alien lands. The birth and growth of Christianity put paid to Greco-Roman scientific civilisation and ushered in the Dark Ages at which point of time Islam arose in Asia to bridge Euro-Asian communication gap and resurrect the Greco-Hindu tradition of learning.
