SHALL WE, HINDUS, PERISH ? -- PERSPECTIVES, ANCIENT, MEDIEVAL AND MODERN, AND A PEEP INTO THE FUTURE ... 3

The conquest of India by Islam is an impossible hope. The Buddhists failed and so must the Islamists. Hinduism is on the rise once again and before long its unfurled flag of harmony and peace will be fluttering everywhere in the world but without the converting connotation endemic to Christianity and Islam.
The one difference, though, is this that the Buddhists were a non-violent mass entrenched in the Hindu dharma tradition but not acknowledging the Vedas as sacrosanct whereas Islam professes a violent creed that is purely political in its conversion conception and cultural consequence. Thus, whereas debates and discussions won by the Hindu reformers like Kumaril Bhatta, Mandan Mishra and Shankaracharya carried the day against the Buddhists, here we are faced with a much more serious challenge from a creed that has successfully partitioned India and threatens to fission it into many such segments with Muslim dominance. That the politicians in states like West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Kashmir and the like overtly or covertly support these extreme elements that threaten the sovereignty of the nation makes it worse for the fate of both India and the general mass of Muslims who are, only in segments though, either passive supporters of the Islamist cause or open advocates of the same. The general mass of the Muslims are poor people who, like their poor Hindu brethren, are too ignorant of these political moves and motivations and too powerless to react this way or that, bound to the struggle for daily subsistence that they are. It is the educated Muslim who often does not take a stand openly against the Islamists for fear of persecution within the community from the clerics and their vicious sympathisers, many of whom are friends and relatives of daily human intercourse.
The solution to this problem lies in the resurrection of the Hindus and their age-old culture. Leftists and Christo-Islamists are dead against such a rise of the Hindus and are up to vociferous propaganda against it, for a Hindu renaissance will have put paid to their dubious agenda of breaking up India into parts whose early proof is there for all to see in the Partition of India that happened in 1947 which we euphemistically call the Independence of India. The Muslim problem will continue to plague India unless she adopts a cultural national stand that Indians are all Hindus by geographical location and by cultural legacy within which Islamic culture of the last thousand years in India must be accommodated. But the broad superstructure must be Hindu for it is a cultural accumulation of many millenia from times aeons earlier than the birth of Islam.
