IT IS LOUD ENOUGH NOW FOR ALL TO PROTEST, ELSE, ALAMGIR WINS IN WEST BENGAL AND GHAZWA-E-HIND IS VINDICATED

IT IS LOUD ENOUGH NOW FOR ALL TO PROTEST, ELSE, ALAMGIR WINS IN WEST BENGAL AND GHAZWA-E-HIND IS VINDICATED

The ruling dispensation in West Bengal is bringing impending electoral ruin upon itself through increasing pandering to the Muslim community. The loudspeaker blares on from dawn really loudly, calling the devout to prayer, and ends equally loudly only in late evening to eventually give temporary respite to the doubting disbelievers before the drill begins again the following dawn.
And drill it truly is, for the irritatingly inharmonious sound disturbs five times a day my concentration in work and stands opposed to what genuine spirituality ought to be in its rightful intent. Our Chief Minister has passed her school days, I guess, and, so, does not care to understand what concentration and its induced lapse in academic work means to students. This is regrettable, indeed.
At any rate, I wonder why in a secular state I have to be subjected to theocratic invitations and indoctrinations five times a day. After all I am a Hindu which Islam considers a false, idolatrous and polytheistic religion, fit to be destroyed and its adherents all converted to the one true faith of the one true God or, if they resist, to be fought and subjugated or put to the sword. As this is the stated intolerant stance of Islam towards Hinduism, why then must this five-time sonic violence be allowed by the West Bengal Government against the religion of the majority community?
When I hear the inharmonious loudspeaker-sounded Azaan multiple times everyday, I am reminded of an oft-quoted saying that does the rounds these days that in West Bengal we are living in mini-Pakistan or in Mughalistan. Perhaps, we are coming closer to a theocratic kinship with our severed sister, Bangladesh, for she has already capitulated and surrendered her secular freedom to the clamorous calls of the Islamists. What a shame that it ought to be so on both sides of the border of Bengal and what a dreadful prospect it is for our security on the western side of it !
Dark days are ahead for West Bengal unless there is a radical shift in governmental attitude towards the Islamists. The question arises -- how long will the Hindus tolerate this governmental pretence of secular Islamisation of West Bengal? Are we to be partitioned again or have we learnt our lesson from the horrendous happenings of 1947?
