THE COSMETIC BAN
The banning of terror outfits in Pakistan is of no consequence. It is the Islamic intolerant ideology of world-domination and exclusive survival as the sole repository of so-called perfected truth that is at the root of such terror and it is this that needs to be defeated. Else, cosmetic banning of terrorist organisations are eye-washes that will sustain their operations under altered names, altered bank accounts and altered operational centres.
The phenomenon of Islamic terrorism may have Pakistan as its noxious nucleus and Saudi Arabia as its core financier but it is an ideological disease that has deeper origins right from its inception and, as such, one that needs depth surgery for its total elimination at the subconscious level of its fanatical following where no military surgical strike may reach. Thus, along with the military action, ideological counter-programmes must be set in place to defeat this toxic religious programming of the child-mind with scriptural dogma that creates fanatics by the millions.
