LET THE NARRATIVE BE RIGHT

LET THE NARRATIVE BE RIGHT

Our security forces defend our nation not on the basis of the Gandhian principle of love to melt the heart of the enemy but on the basis of our age-old kshatriya principle of righteous war on evil for the protection of the sovereignty of the state. They do so because the Gandhian principle is far-fetched and facile and serves no purpose in an operation of combating an armed enemy intent on destruction of the state.

This should put into perspective why India in her bid for freedom suffered Partition under Gandhi's leadership, the Mahatma having stubbornly refused to listen to saner suggestion from Subhas Chandra Bose to develop an army of Congress workers. Jinnah was served Pakistan on a platter by the Mahatma thus who merely pursued peace as the former ordered 'Direct Action' on the Hindus to strike terror in their hearts and force Partition. Jinnah and Suhrawardy in effect became future Pakistan's first terrorists in modern times, for the Islamic ideology of the destruction of India dates far back into medieval times when the prophesy of Ghazwa-e-Hind was pronounced.

Since independence India has suffered undue misery on account of the Gandhian legacy of non-violence crippling governmental policy in robust statecraft for the defence of the nation. That the armed forces somehow survived this Gandhian onslaught was on account of their insulation from politics and their carrying on with the martial tradition of the British Indian Army.

Two currents of national life thus carried on in civic affairs and in military affairs in complete contrast to each other. This split in national thinking has cost us a lot and it is only today under Narendra Modi, it seems, that these two diverse currents are beginning to meet and mingle into a unified national life, vibrant and vigorous. This divorce from Gandhian policy in statecraft augurs well for the nation and such sustained policy will in the long run empower India militarily sufficiently to not only ward off her secessionist threats from within and without but also create conditions for her free flourishing in an environment of peace and stability. Thus will the Gandhian failed objective of achieving national stability through non-violence be actually achieved through the reverse philosophy and pragmatic programme in consonance with the exigencies of realpolitik.

May our jawans be protected from undue harm even as they fight for the security of the nation ! May the Government of India stop weakening the minds of the children with soft Gandhian principles which are not consonant with the imperatives of real life ! May our nation wake up to manhood at last and take on the enemy head on !

Vande Mataram! Jai Hind!
