The abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A will in the long run lead to the rapid development of J&K despite the threat of temporary unrest in the Valley on account of it. So long as this special status to J&K continues to be in place, it is going to remain segregated from the mainstream of national life and consequently backward and susceptible to all sorts to malicious foreign forces that sow the seeds of cessation.
