The very same tactics of recruiting individuals for promoting a cause in self-interest which the British did to us, the so-called patriots are doing today. It takes a bit of time and experience to see through their designs but they are exposed in one's understanding sooner than later and then one has to be on one's guard.

Patriotism is not a profession that one may pursue for furtherance of one's career interests.
