The armed revolutionaries who had sacrificed their all to bring us freedom had written their autobiographies which are no more in print today. Republication of these is an imperative to refocus attention on their exploits and bring home their contributions to freedom.

Sachindranath Sanyal's autobiography 'Bondi Jeebon', the Bengali version, could not be traced today in College Street and it remains to be seen how one may get hold of this book and get to know about the life and times of this supreme hero of our armed struggle for freedom who had suffered incarceration in the dreaded Cellular Jail twice, a feat unequalled by any other and, hence, unique to him.
