I MUST RENOUNCE BUT MUST I RENOUNCE MY MOTHERLAND? ... 1

What we need is spiritual explosive in our bodies by the observance of perfect continence, the detonation of which shall ignite the nation into revolutionary activity for the achievement of true freedom. The urban population, immersed in effeminate indulgence, has lost all sense of manhood, and it is this inundation of spirituality, genuine and firebrand and not the typical pretence to piety, that will rekindle the spirit of sacrifice among the populace to fire it up with the virility it lacks. Then shall the nation rise.

A mass of selfish brutes today forms the body politic of the educated and the worst offenders are the 'heartless intellectuals' --- to pilfer from Vivekananda the epithet --- who lend the nation this alternative ideology of self-centred living in the name of preservation of oneself to the exclusion of the billion-strong hapless population of the motherland who daily die a despicable death. The argument offered is that the government is corrupt and does not afford sufficient opportunity for the academically proficient to prosper here and, so, necessarily they must leave the motherland's shores to try their luck out elsewhere. It is despicable logic when one reflects the sheer selfishness of these human brutes who never even once think of repaying the motherland their debt from birth when they have taken every bit of opportunity here, consumed a more than fair share of the nation's resources to bolster their prospective academic careers and then conveniently choose one day to leave the motherland without even turning a hair and forget to return ever again to serve her and build her future as well.

My heart is full of agony and I can scarce continue save to say that I have dedicated myself to the nation and every ounce of my energy is for the good of the many, for the welfare of all, here in my beloved motherland, 'the queen of my adoration', to pilfer this time from the redoubtable Sister Nivedita who had thus described the attitude of her Master to his motherland.

Bande Mataram!
