The British established their reign in India through duplicity and deceit and it is sheer folly to believe they left their prized possession being overwhelmed by the truth-force of Gandhiji. It is quite out of character for the British to do so. Now carefully consider the imperatives that faced this nation of the descendants of robber-barons for giving up the jewel in their Crown before drawing your pseudo-intellectual conclusions as to why the British left India. Upon your honest reflection and realisation thereof depends much of the immediate future of this cradle of human civilisation.
