Please upload more videos on the life story of Swami Nirmalananda and make them more accurate than this one which is full of factual errors. It seems as if almost a deliberate attempt has been made here to gloss over contentious issues in a rather clever way which dilutes the truthfulness of articulation in this video and reduces its value in truth terms. By way of illustration it may be pointed out that Sri Ramakrishna did not as such have sixteen direct monastic disciples who were central to his divine play but had seventeen of them all of whom were pertinent to his play. In fact Swami Nirmalananda was doubtlessly of greater significance to the Master's divine play apparently than some others like Swamis Advaitananda and Subhodananda. If Swami Vijnanananda who joined the Order in the Alambazar Math could be reckoned a direct disciple of central significance, then why not Nirmalananda so when he was one who had joined the Order right at its inception in the Baranagar Math? Was it simply because Vijnanananda became the fourth President of the Ramakrishna Order later? But by that count even Swami Nirmalananda was a lifelong Vice President of the Ramakrishna Order. Moreover, here the speaker says that Nirmalanandaji transcended the boundaries of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission and carried on the work of starting and running centres in Kerala on his own which was not quite the case as such. Nirmalananda Swami, despite differences with the Belur Math authorities, had never officially left the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission whose Vice President, as mentioned earlier, he continued to be right till his mortal end.

The video is an important step forward in the reestablishment of Swami Nirmalananda's status as direct disciple of Thakur no doubt but it badly fails to inspire faith in the speaker's words for his very evident paucity of knowledge about the Swami and his tendency to gloss over contentious issues as mentioned above. It is hoped that future videos will rectify these glaring defects in the light of better research and greater adherence to fact and less on fancy and cleverness of talk to hide motives and factual ignorance. May Sri Ramakrishna bless all who have participated in some way or the other in this grand project to project Swami Nirmalananda in the right light ! May all future endeavour in this regard meet with a resounding success !

My especial thanks to Manoj Sivan for having been in some way or the other instrumental in bringing to fruition this grand project. Whosoever else may be there in this endeavour whose contribution I am ignorant of, I also include here in my grateful thanksgiving.

Jai Ramakrishna ! Jai Swami Nirmalananda !
