REMEMBER, SWAMI NIRMALANANDA (TULSI MAHARAJ) IS SRI RAMAKRISHNA'S DIRECT DISCIPLE

Despite a million attempts to collectively cast Swami Nirmalananda (Tulsi Maharaj) into oblivion, he remains etched in our memory as the epitome of the monk extraordinaire who Swamiji considered as the ideal renunciate and praised profusely, setting him up as an example worthy of emulation by his brother disciples, a disciple who loved his divine Master, Sri Ramakrishna, with such endearment that during the earthquake of 1892 he held his photograph to his bosom to prevent it from coming to harm at a time when all others, seeking safety, had run down from the first floor where Nirmalananda Swami chose to stay put with the image of his divine Guru held close thus.

If, today, it suits the interests of the chroniclers of history to let Swami Nirmalananda sink slowly into the abyss of oblivion, may such heretical recorders be reminded that there breathe as yet some historians impregnated with the seeds of truth who can counter such false narrative and bring to light the facts as they are and unconditioned by human engineering. This then should be the task of all truth-tellers who should flood the social media with the true life story of this seminal sage, this disciple dynamic of the Avatar of Dakshineshwar, who, like Netaji, has faced discrimination and deliberate disposal into being a less than primary personality of the very movement that he gave his life's vitality to bring it to partial fruition. It is now up to us how we will lead this movement unto the eventual establishment of the long suppressed truth.

Jai Thakur! Jai Ma! Jai Swamiji!
