The direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna were towering spiritual personalities the like of whom was nowhere to be found on this earth---this was said by none other than Sri Ramakrishna himself. The subsequent history of the world has borne out the truth of this statement of the Master. They remain the preeminent spiritual beings for us even today. It is to our greatest profit to read about them, contemplate them and venerate them that we may absorb their vibrations to turn out into fuller human, nay, divine beings even as these Masters.
