AVATAR 10

He laughs, he leaps,
He sings, he weeps,
In every move
His mission he keeps,
Ever awake,
Oh, he never sleeps,
He scales the peaks,
He plumbs the deeps.
He sows the seed,
His harvest reaps,
His Word though slow
But sure it seeps,
The soul of man,
At God it peeps.

The play is done,
'tis the setting sun,
His playmates all,
With him they run,
The tide is high,
The breeze is set,
They sail so free,
So full of glee.
Merrily, merrily,
They dance 'n laugh,
They sing, they leap,
They never do weep.
Far, far off
They melt in space.
Whence they came ?
Whither they race ?
Merrily, merrily,
Round 'n round,
These minstrel souls,
These souls unbound,
Up 'n down
They come 'n go
To stage the play
We never know.

And thus has been
The tale so far,
He came, he saw,
He threw ajar
The gates of God,
Floodgates he freed,
He freed his own
When in dire need.
He, the Self,
The Soul of man,
Nearer, closer,
Dearer than.
From time to time
In every Age,
Doth sing 'n dance,
'n his play doth stage.

'n he laughs 'n leaps,
'n sings 'n weeps,
'n in every move
His mission he keeps.
