IN APPRECIATION OF A DEVOTEE'S HONEST ADMISSION OF THE TRUTH REGARDING TULSI MAHARAJ'S DIRECT DISCIPLESHIP OF THAKUR AFTER READING BRAHMA GOPAL DUTT'S BOOK 'SWAMI NIRMALANANDA---A DIRECT DISCIPLE OF SRI RAMAKRISHNA---A FOCUS ON FACTS AND FACETS'

Satchit Roy, I am inspired by your honest confession post knowledge of the facts. Few, alas, either care to read or then admit. Theirs is the face-saving allegiance to persisting falsification which makes the establishment of truth on earth, the primary mission of the Avatar, that much more difficult. This sort of callous collusion or deliberate intransigence is to be deemed the worship of Avidya Maya rather than its nemesis Vidya Maya whose concentrated essence the Avatar is and his mission on earth. Would it were that more devotees were like you and sided with truth whatever the temporal consequences be in their imagination! Congratulations on your diligent pursuit of truth and its consequent illumination as needs the case must unfailingly be!

Naveena CK is another such honest devotee and a diligent soldier in Swamiji's infantry who has even more unequivocally articulated his observation after discovering the truth. However, I am not sure if he has read the relevant book by Brahma Gopal Dutt whose pdf link Manoj Sivan kindly provided, a book for which we owe our gratitude to the family of Aparna Dutta, her father, her grandfather late Brahma Gopal Dutt, her great grandfather late Kiran Chunder Dutt and her uncle late Ajoy Kumar Basu, and Amol Narayan Datta. May I here itself request Naveena CK, in case he has not as yet read it, go through the book and come to definite conclusions about the case?

It would not suffice merely to oneself know the truth of the case but one must then take care to propagate it for its wider dissemination. To that end a few earnest ones have gathered and we invite you (Satchit Roy and Naveena CK) both to join hands with us.

There is another one I know who is deeply knowledgeable about this case and he is a descendant of the great Tulsi Maharaj from his brother's line. He is Somnath Datta and he has always stood by the great Swami's cause and ably defended his status as direct disciple of Thakur. He has also in the past furnished vital information about the entire case.

Narayanan P D Namboodiri is another zealous propagator of the said truth about Swami Nirmalananda.

Sujoy Mukherjee and Aparna Datta have been my associates at hand in this case and we have had lengthy discussions at my residence and online over the details of the case and the modus operandi for resolving it. We have worked in tandem since years now.

Alas, we have no more Swami Sampurnananda Puri among us whose devotion to Tulsi Maharaj and the truth about him was matchless among the monks of the Ramakrishna Order! His demise in December 2020 from Covid has been a bodyblow to some of us. He was a dear friend to Manoj and myself and to so many others, loving and sympathetic, with a creative eye in discerning fact from fiction, bold and articulate in his unconventional artistic approach to life and its problems among which he did prioritise high up Tulsi Maharaj's case.

In conclusion let me thank you all for all your support all these years and looking forward to the same in the days and months and years ahead till by Tulsi Maharaj's blessings and Thakur's grace we have succeeded in breaking through the present impasse and resurrected Swami Nirmalananda to his due status in the pantheon of Sri Ramakrishna's direct disciples.

And before I truly conclude what has been a lengthy observation testing the reader's patience, I offer my heart's gratitude and utmost regards to that lone crusader Manoj Sivan who first apprised me about the truth, ever supported me with documentary evidence gleaned from all relevant sources and even introduced me to the last living disciple of Tulsi Maharaj whose name was Dr. Achyutan who sent me in long-hand his reminiscences of his Guru in the fond hope that I would one day set myself to writing his Guru's full-length biography.

Dr. Achytutan has passed away. So has Sri Ajoy Kumar Basu who I had met thrice at his Kolkata residence and was thrilled to hear from his very lips the facts and facets in focus on the great Swami Nirmalananda. My obeisance to the memory of the two dedicated souls and to that of Aparna's father who I had the occasion to speak to over the telephone. May they all find peace at the lotus feet of our beloved Master, the peerless Paramahamsa of Dakshineshwar! 🕉
