1. You may not live upto the ideal but do not in principle lower it to suit convenience. Rationalising worldliness is unwholesome anyway.

11. Who diligently does his duty cares not to demand for rights. The rights follow on their own like bondmen that willingly serve.

18. Our lives are the product of the times and of times gone by. And they in turn will engender the lives to follow. It is a ceaseless, endless, seamless flow with the baton passing from generation to generation in a spiralling, inward motion. Waves rise and waves subside as the energy travels from point to point carrying personalities onward unto the eventual destination of a waveless sea. Now after billions of years of turbulence, stillness reigns till the ocean once more breaks into waves.

37. Surface chanting or prayer does not alter character for the better. Rather it reinforces the vitality of the system to do greater mischief if the fundamental philosophy be evil.

38. Give up infatuation for the descendants of the great ones. They are not great simply by dint of descent. Shake yourself free of such slavishness.

39. Few have self-respect. Most suffer from self-complexes.

40. Self-respect in social terms is a fragile thing. It becomes stable when you have seen the divinity within.

41. It is good to praise your parents. But don't do so before your wife. She will have a praise or two to add as well.

42. Humour, alas, is a vanishing trait! As intellect weakens with proliferating population, culture plummets and humour gets grounded to prosaic bits like a skylark whose wings have been clipped.

43. People understand [or, do they?] the letter of the law but not quite the implicit humour therein. Life's a tragedy for most, devoid of humour that they are. Intelligence is to be measured by the yardstick of humour.

What does the materialist understand about the high flights of true spirituality? What have crafty political leaders and bloodthirsty warlords ever understood of God? Come to the banks of the Ganga, the Sindhu and the Saraswati, the high hills of the Himalayas, the dense forests of ancient Naimishaaranya to come to terms with life and seek its subliminal essence, its sublimity in the limpid spaces of blissful glow where all duality has given way to a supreme peacefulness, a blessed state of perpetual freedom, a ceaseless current of light and love.

49. দয়া করে কর্মচারীদের মাইনে পত্তর একটু বেশী দেবেন | ওদের না খাইয়ে মারবেন কি ? শুধু প্রসাদ খাওয়ালেই কি চলে ? ১১০০ টাকা, ২০০০ টাকা, ২৫০০, ৪০০০, মাসিক মাইনে ? মানুষকে দেবজ্ঞানে এরকম দিতে কুন্ঠিত বোধ করেন না ?

81. যেখানে কৃপা, সেখানে সাহস | যেখানে সাহস, সেখানে কৃপা | সাহসিকতা চরিত্রের লক্ষণ |

82. লেখাপড়া করে যদি কাপুরুষতাই দূর না হল তো বৃথা লেখাপড়া | ও রকম তথ্যপূর্ণ ক্লীবতার সাধন যোগের পরিপন্থী |

84. The Ishtamantra is a prized possession. Chant your way through the thick and thin of life.

85. There were apologists for the British. Now there are apologists for all corrupt courses. India has not changed.

86. Those who support spiritual corruption explicitly or implicitly are by no means to be deemed devotees. These are rank apologists for spiritual wrongdoing.

89. Dare you openly say, dare you openly write here on public platform that Swami Nirmalananda (Tulsi Maharaj) was a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna?

90. Swamiji had characterised Indians then as leading a gellyfishlike existence. Are we any better today when spineless we support even spiritual corruption? When men of ideals forsake their ideals for the sake of material well-being, the Divine descends again to resurrect humanity. We are on such a threshold when Thakur has been forsaken literally and needs must descend to rescue his own earlier work.

Resurrect Swami Nirmalananda (Tulsi Maharaj) from organisational obscurity if you want the good of the organisation itself. Untruth has had its life. Now let truth speak for itself. And the truth is: Thakur had 17 direct disciples and not 16. Tulsi Maharaj is a direct disciple of Thakur. Devotees, recognise this truth and voice your protest against the propagated lie so that such injustice against Thakur's son no more finds sustenance by your tacit support, by your passive approval of it. Resist this spiritual wrongdoing.
