WHERE MONEY RULES TO BANISH THE SPIRIT

Economic exploitation is the order of the day. As capitalism takes to its wings, the privileged few fly while the masses are ground to the dust. And religion plays foul with the system, aiding this process of labour deprivation through deceit and sleight that go as spirituality.

There can be no spirituality where there is economic injustice of a terrible order. How Vivekananda would have abhorred it! Marx is alive even today as his prophesies fructify every passing hour.

Reason must dispel delusions about divine treatment of employees even of spiritual organisations that exploit heavily their own employees, what to speak of the rest of vast society which in the name of 'children of immortal bliss' has been reduced to a blood-sucking system where each individual becomes at once the agency of exploitation and the exploited. There is no justice, no fairplay, no humanity -- leave aside divinity -- in this horrible world of nightmarish happenings. Ramakrishna-Vivekananda cry in the wilderness as their very forms in a myriad guise suffer inhuman exploitation at every turn of life.
