Man is caught up in the tangle of tradition and it is difficult to extricate him from his rut of unreasonable subscription to spiritual suppositions. Spirituality has got nothing to do with faith which through doctrinaire imposition turns foul and degrades man. It is realisation of the inner essence of one's existence through perfect purity of living and the subduing of the senses till they are transcended that constitutes the core of real religion. Religions that are mere belief-systems and are devoid of this depth of spirituality are best left to their own to be cast away into the wastebin of history with the progress of civilisation.
