MARX AND LENIN

Two great leftist thinkers, founders of communism, leaders of the proletariat movement, critics of capitalism, progressive utopian system-builders, shapers of 20th century history, perhaps, forerunners of left movements yet to come. Like icebergs that remain largely hidden beneath the sea, Marx and Lenin are, perhaps, biding by time before their philosophies again grip mases of people and rock the world. Or, perhaps, the progress of science, as Bertrand Russell prophesied it would, has rendered their classical version of communism outdated, outmoded and obsolete, and if any influence the revolutionary duo still have on human society in the future, it will be derivatives of their original philosophy tempered to the times.
