ASK YOURSELF

If you consider yourself spiritual, put yourself to a simple test. Ask yourself, "Am I courageous or do I cower in fear when confronted by fanatical violence?" Honestly introspect and you will get your answer whether you are spiritual or not. Remember, spirituality is all about rejecting that you are a psychophysical entity and affirming that you are the boundless Spirit free of all limiting earthly adjuncts. As such the Spirit is free of all fear. Are you as well or are you just that much of a conforming coward full of cowering compromises in your living and dare not raise your voice against perceived injustice, against horrendous crimes perpetrated against free society in the name of faith, philosophy or political ideology? Upon your honest self-probe depends your answer as to what you truly are -- spiritual or its mimicked mockery?
