THE EVER-EVOLVING HOLY BOOK OF THE EVER-EVOLVING GOD IN MAN'S EVER-EVOLVING CONSCIOUSNESS

THE EVER-EVOLVING HOLY BOOK OF THE EVER-EVOLVING GOD IN MAN'S EVER-EVOLVING CONSCIOUSNESS

Constant adjustment to changing circumstance and amendment of earlier scientific, philosophical and theological thought systems is the way forward. This continuous revision, reform, rejection and restatement of the principles of life and reality make for civilisaltional sustenance and progress.

There is nothing so sacrosanct that cannot be scrutinised and, if unsuited to present requirements or found to be factually or philosophically flawed, amended or outright rejected. A frozen dogma gone viral among the masses hurts humanity like nothing else. Hence, constant conversation on contentious issues -- discussion, deliberation and debate -- is the sine qua non of civilised living. In its absence the pool of fresh water that nourishes society now becomes a stagnant mass of stinking fluid that is unfit for consumption or habitation.

Eternal change is the law of relative life and this change must ever be on. No religious or political text is beyond this principle of change for all holiness derives from man and not God, the latter being one's holiest invention and, hence, not holier than man. Change laws whenever necessary, wherever necessary. Alter 'holy' text or discard it if it stands in the way of progress.

Do not pretend that religious texts are of divine origin alone. Everything is of divine origin that way. Else, nothing is, not even sacred texts.

Man is at the centre of this conversation, not God, just like the heliocentric theory of Copernicus and unlike the geocentric theory of Aristotle. Move on like Galileo, like Laplace, like Darwin, like Vivekananda. Move on. Charaiveti ! (Onward!)
