WHEN PEACE MEANS TO PROSELYTISE
WHEN PEACE MEANS TO PROSELYTISE
My faith is peaceful. So, it teaches me that it is the only true faith, that I must invite followers of other faiths to its fold, that I must convert my polytheist spouse-to-be to my faith before marrying, that my holy mission must be to advance the proselytising cause of my faith, exclusive in attitude, absolutist in doctrinaire content though it may be. After all by converting the infidel I am saving him or her from certain hellfire. Am I not being compassionate? Am I not upholding the loftiest spiritual principle, the highest human virtue?
