Our motherland is beset today by many maladies but she shall rise yet again despite this to occupy the exalted seat of the spiritual preceptor of the world. This will come to pass, for it is the mission specially assigned to India to guide the rest of the world spiritually toward its eventual freedom and it is this end toward which she has for countless aeons striven and advanced despite the periodic vicissitudes that have befallen her and temporarily seemingly upset the rhythm of her national life.
No other country has the specific geographical and climatic conditions required for the fulfilment of this mission and no other race but the Hindus (the name is an aberration though) has been equipped mentally, morally and spiritually for bringing about this global human transformation in the fullness of time.
Swami Vivekananda laid great stress on the presence of the Himalayas for the extreme development of spirituality and philosophy thereof in the land of Bharat. Perhaps, the seer in him could witness the Spirit palpable in the vast Himalayan landmass whence it had with the waters of the Ganga, the Sindhu and the Saraswati descended onto the plains below to inundate the mind and soul of the people of India.
