THE NEED OF THE HOUR

Very few monks have fire in their voice when they preach from the podium. Without such power lectures are in vain. It is character born out of austerity and realisation of the principles preached and an uncompromising life lived in consonance with it that generates the fiery power that can run through the nerves of the audience and set them aflame to transform them for good. Such men are few and far between although the demand of the hour for such is inordinately high. We need a renaissance in our spiritual culture that must retrace its steps to the pristine principles enunciated by Ramakrishna and Vivekananda.
