1. Monks must never be manipulative for money. That is the bane of monasticism, this exertion of spiritual power to extract donation. It is monastic aberration though.

2. আগেও মূর্খ ছিল | কিন্তু তারা মৌন ছিল | এখন গণমাধ্যমে মূর্খতা বাণীরূপ পেয়েছে | হিন্দুর দশা যে আজ কি তা ফেসবুক না করলে জানতেই পারতাম না | দুধের শিশুও কিছু না পড়ে, না বুঝেই ধর্ম শেখায় |

3. এই বিরাট বিশ্বে দিনরাত 'সংঘ, সংঘ' করা কুপমণ্ডুকতার পরিচয় |

4. এত 'জয় স্বামীজী', 'জয় ঠাকুর', 'জয় মা' না বলে যদি প্রতিবেদনগুলি পাঠ করেন ও সেই সংযোগে মন্তব্য করেন তো অধিক উপকৃত বোধ করি |

41. মানুষকে মানুষের সম্মান দিতে হয় দোষগুণ নির্বিশেষে । তবে তো দেবত্বদর্শন, তবে তো বেদান্তবোধ । এর মানে এই নয় যে দুর্বৃত্তকে প্রশ্রয়দান । শুধু অপার অকুন্ঠ প্রেম সকলের প্রতি সৎ অসৎ বিচার বজায় রেখেও । হৃদয়ের ব্যাপ্তি এমনই হোক যে তাতে সর্বোচ্চ আদর্শ বজায় রেখেই সকল বর্জনকে বর্জন করা যায়, যাতে পূর্ণ প্রেমে গ্রহণ হয় সর্বগ্রাসী । এরই নাম একত্ববুদ্ধি, এরই নাম মানুষকে ভালবাসা । মানুষ---এই শব্দটাই মন্ত্র । মানুষই সর্বোচ্চ অর্থে ইষ্ট ।

Tulsi Maharaj (Swami Nirmalananda) with devotees and children. They did not have money but they had their hearts full of love for Thakur.

84. As devotees of Sri Ramakrishna who was the embodiment of truth, it is our bounden duty to uphold the truth that Tulsi Maharaj (Swami Nirmalananda) was the direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna. If we fail to do so and side with falsity, we will have failed in our devotion to Thakur. Silence in this regard is tantamount to collusion with untruth.

86. Thank you for joining the group [GREATER RAMAKRISHNA]. This group  aims at highlighting the activities of institutions and organisations which belong to the greater body of Sri Ramakrishna beyond his central mission founded by Swami Vivekananda. These orders are less in evidence and need our lent ears for their voice to reach us. Hence, the urgency of setting up this group. The wider message must not be lost amidst over-centralisation of the Order. Sri Ramakrishna was 'as wide as the sky and as deep as the ocean', to borrow Swamiji's phrase, and as such his workings through the tributaries and distributaries of the central Order need highlighting. It is with this noble purpose of listening to the footfalls of Thakur across the meadows of this wide earth that we must attend to these diverse orders which are doing seminal service to humanity as well in the light of their understanding and interpretation of Thakur's message and teachings. May our endeavour meet with success by Thakur's grace!

This group [GREATER RAMAKRISHNA] is exclusively dedicated to highlighting all activities of the Ramakrishna Movement that are beyond the workings of the central organisation established by Swami Vivekananda. For instance, it will cater to Ramakrishna Vedanta Math, Saradeshwari Ashram, Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission (Barrackpore), Vivekananda Mission, Vivekananda Nidhi and a host of other such organisations that are also working in the name of the Holy Trinity of Thakur-Ma-Swamiji but find not the spotlight on account of the smallness of their size and working capacity. Nonetheless, it shall be our endeavour to bring to the fore the accounts of these not so significant units of the Lord who like the unseen worm are doing their wee bit in His service. May our enterprise be worthwhile! May Thakur-Ma-Swamiji bless our endeavour even as they shower their blessings ceaselessly on all, especially these little, forgotten elements in their silent service!
