Tagore's gift to us was an encyclopedia of ideas, varied, nuanced, in every shape and form, tracing lines and contours that open vistas for us and lead us from the mundane to the poetic, from the gross to the beautiful, from the fractured to the comprehensive. It only falls short where it binds us spiritually with the cords of sensory beauty. But spirituality is not his domain. There Vivekananda takes over and leads us on till freedom is attained.
